Collective Currents
We are creating our own Mississippi River from cyanotype art pieces individually made by participants. Cyanotypes are usually created in darkrooms, so the outdoors at night is a suitable venue. The blues in this art reflect the waters of the Mississippi River and the other bodies of water throughout Minnesota. As pieces are added to the installation during the night, the river grows and expands its flow.
